A rapidly changing context

The context within which all orgaisations operate is changing at a rapid pace.  Digitisation, artificial intelligence and process automation is replacing much of the work that used to be done by humans.  The rise of the gig economy is changing the way in which individuals contract with the organisations they work for and with. People are working for longer with five generations of staff, with different experiences, expectations and values, working side by side.  Mobile technology is enabling us to work anytime, anywhere and anyway we like, moving us away from dependency on time and place, the two dimensions that for centuries have dictated how work was organised.

Jonathan Smale

Jonathan is Work to Be's founder and Lead Consultant. Jonathan has a background in HR and Organisational Development and has been running his own successful business since 2002.   He has delivered major office refurbishment, IT implementation, cultural change and organisational redesign projects in a range of organisations.

Jonathan is supported by a network of associates with expertise in building surveying, workspace design and digital innovation. 

Work to Be is a brand name of the business Orchard Learning and Development Limited which has delivered successful HR, organisational development and workplace redesign solutions to organisations since 2002.
